Volunteer attorneys will be available to answer questions regarding insurance, landlord/tenant law, records and documents, and other disaster-related legal issues at the following: September 21 LegalLine – The public can call 713-759-1133 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and speak to volunteer attorneys who will answer their legal questions related to the recent wildfires, as well as general legal questions. October 1 Legal Clinic – Volunteer attorneys will be available to meet with residents who have legal questions related to the wildfires at the Saturday, October 1 clinic sponsored by the HBA’s Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program and the HBA’s Consumer Law Task Force. The clinic will run from 9:00 a.m. until noon at Ripley House, 4410 Navigation, Houston, TX 77011. No appointment is necessary; please bring any related documents.
