Child Witness To Violence Project – Violence Intervention Project
The Violence Intervention Project is a program for children aged 3-17 who have witnessed violence at home, school, or in their community. Services include:
* Assessments, Evaluations
* Individual Therapy
* Group Treatment
Our staff, which consists of licensed social workers and master's level child therapists, is committed to providing the best and most appropriate care for each child referred for services. Individualized plans are developed and implemented in conjunction with the child's family, school, physician and other social service agencies that may be involved.
As part of a larger private, non-profit agency, we are committed to providing services to all children regardless of their ability to pay. We recognize that these children, often the "silent victims" of abuse, are themselves VIP's in need of individualized attention and care.
The Clinic Director and her staff of Masters Levels Clinicians come with a great deal of experience working with both adult and child victims, collaterals, police departments and the community at large.
We welcome referrals from parents, police, department of social services, schools, physicians/health centers and courts.
Please feel free to call 508-583-6498 for more information or to make a referral.
