Animals, Medication, Heartworm Meds/Flea Control needed by Humane Society Foster Shelter (Suzzie Pollard)

Heartworm medication is of UTMOST URGENCY. It is the number one killer of animals in the state of Mississippi at this time, and the shame is that it's so very preventable.

It's unfortunate that unlike products like Advantage for flea's and ticks you cannot purchase this very necessary medication for dogs over the counter and it's super expensive.

Once a dog gets heartworm, it's a death sentence for them unless there is someone out there that can afford treatment (starts at a minimum of $400.00 and the costs can climb).

Have a heart and send ongoing supplies or even a one time donation of heartworm medication or gift cards to purchase this much needed resource to help care for the forgotten animals survivors in Hancock County.
