Hurricane Tomas

Update: We are now seeing what has been for those of us involved in Haiti since the earthquake the worst case scenario. Hurricane Tomas is forecast to dump upwards of 10" of rain over most of the island of Hispaniola, causing catastrophic flooding in Haiti. There is nowhere for the people to go so the only option is to hunker down and wait it out. PORTLIGHT has shipped our field kitchen to Haiti and it will be set up at Quisqueya University and we will be helping to feed the victims of mother nature's latest onslaught on Haiti. To fully realize our potential to help we will once again need to call on you, our supporters to donate what you can; even $1 will help us to feed and shelter the people of Haiti, so help when and where you can...they're counting on us!
