Training Classes, Safety Training available at Red Cross, Greater Houston Chapter

AVAILABLE COURSES:

Safety Training for Swim Coaches:

~ Aquatic safety training for competitive swim coaches.
Developed cooperatively by the American Red Cross and
the United States Swimming Association.

Basic Aid Training (BAT):

~ Introduce children to safety information and first aid
procedures for breathing difficulties, bleeding, poisoning,
burns, shock and other emergencies.

First Aid for Children Today:

~ Help children ages five to eight understand the important
role they have in managing their own health and safety as
well as the health of the enviroment in which they live.

Protect Your Back:

~ Teaches participants to recognize the hazards that cause
back injury and methods to prevent them. Emphasizes safety
procedures for the workplace and home.
