Warehouse, Assistant Manager, Volunteer needed by San Antonio Food Bank

Job Title: Warehouse Management Assistant

What: The volunteer will assist the lead warehouseman in loading and off-loading of product from 18-wheelers and bobtails. The volunteer will assist in the movement of product in the warehouse as needed and to handle all reasonable tasks required of a volunteer, such as inventory assistance, equipment care, and as a safety measure for the warehouseman on staff.

When: Individual must be available from Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

Where: San Antonio Food Bank Warehouse, 5200 Old Highway 90 West, San Antonio, TX 78227

Requirements: Must be 18 or older with transportation and valid identification. May NOT be court appointed hours. Must be able to commit to a minimum of 15 hours a week. Warehouse experience is a plus and knowledge of manual pallet jacks, ride-behinds is required. Fork lift certification is a plus and is required for anyone utilizing a San Antonio Food Bank fork lift.
