Due to the changing nature of our recovery work, each of the Disaster Response camps now requires a fifteen dollar ($15) donation per person per day to operate the camp. This figure includes lodging costs and food. In addition, these donations also cover the cost of one MS UM Disaster Response t-shirt per person. (Additional t-shirts cost $10 each.) Since donations keep our camps self-sustaining, we are able to better meet the needs of the homeowners we assist.
Camp Gulfside is a 6,000 sq ft modular structure with multiple rooms, each holding 2 – 4 sets of bunk beds. Volunteers will need to provide their own bed linens. There are no co-ed rooms.
