Training Classes, Disaster Ops, Volunteer Training available at Trauma Intervention Programs of San Diego (TIP)

Description: Volunteers needed to provide immediate emotional and practical support to survivors of traumatic events and their families in the first few hours following a tragedy.

Extensive training provided. 3 12-hour shifts per month required, either 7AM - 7PM or 7PM - 7AM. Volunteers must submit to a background check and fingerprinting.

Work takes place at various areas in the North and East Counties, also Poway and South Bay.

Minimum age: 16 with adult.
