Notes:

Every school year we coordinate with administration and faculty members at Potter Junior High School to honor “Students of the Month”. Each month two students from grade 7 and two from grade 8 are invited to one of our Monday luncheon meetings where they dine with us and are awarded engraved Rotary Certificates proclaiming their outstanding civic or scholastic achievements.

Our scholarship program provides opportunity for higher education for graduating seniors at Fallbrook High School. Ivy and Oasis High School are “alternate” schools and are considered part of the Fallbrook Union High School District. From one to five University or Palomar Junior College scholarships are awarded each year to students. These students demonstrate not only academic and leadership skills and abilities, but also keen interest in the community and the world around them. All students are invited to apply for these scholarships. A selection committee interviews them and awards are made based upon scholarship, civic achievement and financial need.

Each year interest free Student Loans are made available to deserving students seeking higher education.

During each Rotary year we provide financial support to a number of extracurricular school programs: Fallbrook High School Madrigals singers; Potter Junior High School Concert Choir; Live Oak School Choir; Kodaly School Music Program; and Parents As Teachers serving Fallbrook elementary schools.

The Boys and Girls Club of North County in Fallbrook receives substantial annual financial assistance from the Rotary Club of Fallbrook.
