Meals, Congregate Feeding, Meals (Elders/Seniors) available at Northeast Iowa Food Bank

Elderly Nutrition Boxes

The Elderly Nutrition Box program currently provides over 700 boxes to residents in Northeast Iowa each month. Over 490 food boxes are delivered throughout ten counties to the home bound elderly, identified through the Hawkeye Valley Area Agency on Aging's Meals on Wheels program. In the Waterloo, Cedar Falls and Evansdale area over 200 food boxes are delivered to elderly residents through local senior housing complexes and senior centers.

Senior Weekend Meals

Senior Weekend Meals are provided to seniors attending congregate meal programs at local Senior Centers throughout Black Hawk County. Each month the Northeast Iowa Food Bank distributes 250 Senior Weekend Meals.
