Food Distribution, Food Pantry (Distributes to the Public) available at Second Mile Mission Center

The Food Pantry for Second Mile Mission Center distributes perishable and nonperishable food as well as non-food items to low-income households and families in crisis who reside in Fort Bend County. Clients are available to receive food monthly, however, no one is ever turned away hungry. Quantity of food is determined by family size.

Last month, over 75,000 pounds of food was distributed to area families in need - most of which was donated.

Food is collected for the food pantry from the Houston Food Bank, area food drives, wholesale alliances and local retailers. Donations of non-perishable items are always welcome.
