Child Support Enforcement secures financial and medical support from the noncustodial parent. Support payments are secured by direct payment from the parent or through payroll EFT.
CSE Services include: locating the noncustodial parent, establishment of paternity,establishment of orders for child support and medical support, collection and distribution of support payments, enforcement of child support orders, review and adjustment of orders, working with child support programs in other states to collect child support, The Ten Most Wanted list
The TANF program, administered by the MS Department of Human Services (MDHS), Divisiion of Economic Assistance, requires families on TANF assistance to work with the CSE office to obtain financial support from the noncusdodial parent.
