How We're Funded: C*A*R*E* Chest is a local, independent
non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, with no national
affiliation. We are funded entirely through grants,
corporate sponsorship, individuals and fundraisers.

What We Provide: Medical Equipment, Nutritional Supplements,
Diabetic Supplies, Respiratory Supplies, Ostomy and Colostomy
Supplies and Other Types of Supplies and Equipment.

Programs We Can Help With

Enteral (Liquid Nutrition) Products: Monthly supplies of liquid nutrition for individuals who cannot digest solid foods.

Disposable Medical Supplies: Monthly supplies including diapers, adult bed pads, sterile-dressing, ostomy supplies and other items.

Diabetic Supplies: Including insulin, syringes, blood glucose monitors and test strips.

Diabetic Medications: Dispensed through a local pharmacy, $100 annually to cover oral medications.

Recycled Durable Medical Equipment: Loans of recycled wheelchairs, hospital beds, shower chairs, etc.

Emergency Prescriptions: $100 annually for children and $50 for adults to cover antibiotics, respiratory, cardiac and anti-seizure medications.

Lice shampoo and combs: Distributed through area schools for families without the financial means to purchase these items.

Deliveries: Items delivered to homebound clients coordinated by volunteers four times per week.

Community Equipment Loans: To area schools, churches and other agencies for their clients’ use.

Respiratory: Nebulizers and medications are provided to infants and adults that suffer from chronic respiratory conditions.

Assistive Technology Loans: Provided by a grant from the State of Nevada, personal loans are made to individuals with disabilities to modify their vehicles or homes.
