"We brought one small trailer with us and evidently we're going to have to come back because they are going to fill it us up with stuff," said church volunteer Joel Little. "Anybody that I thought needed anything I would do without myself to help them pretty much," added Ellis. Because The Ellis Family also knows what it's like to face disaster. Teresa Ellis says this is the time to give back. "A couple of years ago we had a house fire and it was just unbelievable how many people came out to help us," said Ellis. Not only is the church accepting private donations, but its working with area businesses to purchase discounted items like flooring and mattresses.
