Two busses of volunteers will travel to the Red River Valley area to help with the flood relief efforts. Busses will dispatch from the Gorecki Center, College of St Benedict campus. Volunteers should park in Lot 4 and gather at the Gorecki Center in the Fireside Lounge for a quick orientation. Volunteers should report to the Gorecki Center no later than 5:45 a.m. Friday morning. Buses will leave from Gorecki at 6:00 a.am. It is expected that the buses will return to that location between 6-7:00 p.m. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent/guardian. All volunteers must be fit and able to handle 30 pound sandbags. Volunteers should bring gloves, rubber boots and other appropriate clothing depending on the forecast. Water and light morning snacks will be available for volunteers and a lunch may be provided.
