Our mission
As a result of poverty, death, disease and disasters, many people in Haiti are in desperate need. Children are particularly susceptible to these conditions and most often little children are the ones who suffer the most from these problems. As a result, these children are in desperate need of help. Beginning with the need for food for daily survival, Care one bit programs help children and families in the northeastern region of Haiti . An effort to continue the work of Aunt Marie Macelus who began feeding the young children in her neigborhood in Terrier-rouge every Saturdays back in 2007. However, this small program has grown over the past few years and now we are feeding over 250 children every week! Care one bit focuses on providing food, medical assistance, and other developmental aid in the region.
Our Goals
Our ultimate goals is to be able to deliver food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these essentials due to famine, poverty, or natural disaster. Furthermore to help families in need by helping individuals develop into self-sufficient members of their communities, through long-term, self-help development programs.

The Feeding Program...active
To provide assistance to the many starving children in Haiti our programs include a food program where meals are provided to hungry boys and girls in the northeastern region of Haiti . More than 180 children are already being fed every week in Terrier-Rouge by Care One Bit. It is our belief that no child should go to bed hungry. We aim to uphold this belief beginning with the children in the northeastern part of Haiti ; due to limited funds the food program only provides meals to the children once a week. With your help and support it is our goal to provide nutritious meals to these children daily.

She has been visiting Haiti since June, of 2006 from Maine doing ministry work there. It was then that she realized she had lost a piece of her heart to the country that she love with all that she has in her (Haiti).She is now continuing serving Haiti through our ministry.

The Center of Protection provides a half-day of education for children ages 3 through 5. These are the children of the 3 & 4-year-old classes of the Center of Protection with their teachers. These children all receive a half-day of education and a hot meal at the end of their school day.

Pastor Apollon Noel is a very well know Haitian pastor in the north eastern region of Haiti. For over 50 years he has been doing ministry in the region and has founded the Baptist church of Terrier- Rouge. With his 50 years of ministry, he has built more that 7 different school and churches in the surrounding Terrier-Rouge area. His love and commitment to his community has been a great inspiration to us.
