Mission: FROM THE SITE:
This homeless resources was created for people who want to find and donate food and/or supplies to their local shelter.
Volunteer Opportunities are also needed at most shelters. I have listed contact information for volunteering at these shelters.
Due to the current foreclosure rate and US recession, many shelters have waiting lists. Please call before going to the shelter. I would like to point out another helpful website for women's shelters, it is called: WomenShelters.org, link - Women's Shelters. I am also looking for shelters in Puerto Rico, (Puerto Rico Homeless Shelters) please let me know if you know of any.
