First meal will be supper tonight 3. Number of Volunteers: 113 (This number only reflects the number of volunteers on site yesterday. 50 of those were from our sister convention in South Carolina.) To date we have had 461 volunteer days (# of volunteers multiplied # of days served. We don't count hours.) 4. Cleaning and debris projects or jobs completed: 122 5. What counties/cities are you working in: Currently we are in Catoosa, Dade, Morgan, and Walker counties. We have already shut down operations in Floyd, Lamar, Polk, and Spalding counties 6. Any unmet needs you come across: 7. And finally a brief description from your agency as to services being provided for this event. Our primary response has been clean-up and recovery efforts (chainsaw work &tarping houses). For all of our units that respond we also send chaplains (crisis intervention), and low-volume feeding to take care of our workers. Yesterday, we started childcare services in Trenton at the request of First Baptist Church. As already mentioned, we will begin feeding operations this afternoon in Ringgold.
