To make a donation to to survivors of the Sept. 2011 TX Wildfires, the following is a list of drop locations. Please call ahead before making a donation drop. As the response to this disaster shifts, many places are winding down their collection operations and the specific needs change quickly. Clothes ARE NOT NEEDED at this time. They are overwhelmed with clothing donations in TX!

The GoodLife Team: The GoodLife Team is accepting bottled water, sports drinks, canned food and clean clothing. Donations are accepted 8:30 a.m. -6:30 p.m. at 1114 E. Cesar Chavez. For more information, call 512-892-9473

Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS®: The Coldwell Banker Lake Travis office is collecting donations at 907 RR 620 S, on the second floor of the building. They have offered to pick up donations, as well. For more information, call Lisa Jacobson at 512-983-0040

The Carvajal Group: Donations of toiletries, baby items, pet food, bedding and more are being accepted by The Carvajal Group at 2217 Hancock Dr. Contact Eric Carvajal at 512-786-1515 with any questions.

Stanberry & Associates: Stanberry Bastrop is collecting donations at 111 Hasler, across the street from the HEB in Bastrop. They will also accept donations at Stanberry office locations in Westlake, Dripping Springs and Cedar Park. Suggested donations include gift cards, non-perishable food, clothing, pet food, diapers and toiletries.

The OASIS on Lake Travis will be a drop site for Steiner Ranch evacuees. Austin Christian Fellowship is asking for bottled water, flashlights with batteries, tolietries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving products, shampoo, etc.), heavy trash bags, and work gloves.

The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection 2008 Justin Lane, Austin, TX 512-459-0027 The Thrift Shop at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection is accepting donations of clothing, housewares, and toiletries for victims of the Austin-area wildfires. Between 9am and 6 pm someone will be here to receive donations personally. After hours use the drop box at the back end of our parking lot at 2008 Justin Lane, or leave donations at the front door of either the Thrift Shop building or the Parish Hall building.

TEXAS 4-H IS CALLING ON ALL 4-H MEMBERS, VOLUNTEERS AND PARENTS TO HELP! TEXAS IS EXPERIENCING WILDFIRES BEYOND ANYTHING OUR STATE HAS EVER SEEN. IT IS 4-H’S TIME TO HELP!
You can help by taking the following items to your local County Extension Office or a designated drop location! These vital supplies will help in the safety, health, and morale of those protecting us on the frontlines of wildfires.
County Extension Offices will work with local fire departments and the Texas 4-H Headquarters to ensure delivery of donations!

Unfortunately, we are no longer taking any donations, unless they are gift cards, gas cards or monetary. Bastrop and Smithville are no longer allowing any donations to come in, which means we have no where to take them. What we have collected will be going to 2 different churches in Bastrop. The Salvation Army plans to distribute donated items to those individuals who have been directly affected by the wildfires in Central Texas. Those affected can visit the center and pick up what they need. People who have lost their homes are asked to bring proof of residence in order to qualify for assistance.

New Bastrop Disaster Recovery Distribution Center

Monday, Sept. 19: the Bastrop Rundell Distribution Center is now closed. All wildfire relief distribution activities have transferred to a new warehouse. The Settlement Distribution Center, 150 Settlement Rd. Bastrop is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. People affected by recent wildfires in Bastrop County are encouraged to pick up materials they need at this new location. Smithville Distribution Center, 210 Main St., will continue donation and distribution hours of 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
