We’re a group-equity co-op, which means that we all pay in a small ($565) member share to join that is returned when a member moves out. The house is owned by BCC rather than by individuals.

We share vegetarian dinners, chores, house meetings and food purchases. We enjoy eating good food, having good conversations, and spending time together as a community while also making room for our own lives and space.

The Seed Pod Co-op is in the Fields Corner area (very close to the Red Line T station) and is a big triple decker with lots of porches, common space, and room to be creative and transform the space into what we want. We currently have 12 people and two cats (the cats are contained to one floor of the house so not to have a large effect on those with allergies).

Rooms cost between $495 and $611 monthly for rent and $50 for utilities/month plus money for shared food/supplies ($135/month).
