THE BOARD DOUG JEFFERIES As a graduate of Paul Smiths College and Florida International University for Hotel and Restaurant management it was very difficult when he made his decision to leave his management position at Boston Chicken to become a personal trainer at Washington Sports Club. After building up a cliental Doug started his own personal training business in a 1000 square foot garage which grew into Results Gym with four locations, 10,000 members and 250 employees winning the “Best Gym” award in DC for ten years in a row. In 2005 Founder Doug Jefferies began organizing volunteer trips to help the Tsunami victims in Sri Lanka which killed over 300,000 people in a a matter of minutes. Shortly after the two groups of volunteers returned from Sri Lanka Hurricane Katrina devastated the US Gulf Coast. From 2006-2009 Doug lead twelve volunteer teams to Biloxi MS where the teams de-molded, demolished, and built homes. After the 2010 Earthquake hit Haiti we focused our efforts on recruiting for three volunteer trips to Haiti. Since our first trip in June 2010, Doug lead 29 trips for over 160 volunteers. After solidifying a life long commitment determined to elevate the entire country. Mission Results aspires to be a leading agent for volunteers interested in making strategic improvements through relief trips anywhere in the world that needs and wants help. Our mission is to bring about timely and tangible improvements to the economic and social conditions around the world. Mission Results is currently focusing its efforts in Haiti because it is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Our goal is to work simultaneously on a micro simultaneously and marco level projects working to get Haiti off the top of the list as the poorest in our hemisphere. In order to achieve such a lofty goal we plan of aproach will require mulitiple intiatives which would include increading exportation of a manufacturing industry that needs to be created, increasing tourism, agriculture production, internet based employment, and creating basic infrustructure.
